Our Field Training - First Timers is not a tour, nor is it a training like the ones we give at our EnduroCamp, or even a package adventure like the tours we all know.
Our Field Training - First Timers is a way for you to not only get your first contact with off-road by the hand of experienced instructors but also an opportunity for you to immediately experience some km's of riding to put into practice all we will teach you!
With this in mind, the Field Training - First Timers is aimed at any riders that have little to no experience off-road.
How does Field Training work, and what is its goal?
If you take your safety seriously, you know that getting some tips online, and adventuring yourself onto the tracks is not a great idea.
However, without some first attempts to know if you like off-road, the idea of investing the required time to get some serious training seems farfetched.
With this in mind, we created the Field Training - First Timers, where you will be taught the basics needed to start experimenting off-road with ease and safety, as well as the opportunity to ride your first km off-road with the help and guidance of our instructors.
The plan is to do theoretical and practical drills in the morning, and hit the trails in the afternoon! Like this, not only will you be able to learn new skills day by day, but you will also see how much you improve km after km!
Of course, and since we will be in Portugal, in the region of the Ribatejo, we will make sure to show you some great foods, drinks, views, and of course, all the bike talk you can handle.
Do you have motorcycles to rent for the Field Training?
Although we believe you should always train with your own bike, in this special training session we will have several types of bikes available for rent, from classic dual-sports to modern enduro and adventure bikes.
Information regarding values and specific bikes can be shared via email.
Entries are limited to 15 participants, and the minimum for the Field Training - First Timers to take place is 7 adventurers. So, invite your friends and guarantee your place.

This training will pass over Class 1 to 3 terrains, but as in all our trainings, nothing is mandatory, so not only will we help you every step of the way, there will always be road options to bypass any difficulty you do not want to face.
This training is suited for anyone that has little to no experience off-road.
Verify the classes of terrains and rider rating system for more information.
There is nothing worst than having a class to learn something, just to realize you and your instructor cannot understand each other. We know, we have been there, both as instructors and students.
With this in mind, we decided to stick to what we know down to the core, so our classes are hosted in both Portuguese and/or English.
Everything has rules, and our trainings are no different, so let's go over what you need to know to attend this training.
- At least a 50-50 tire, designated as is by its respective manufacturer (recommend)
- An integral helmet that is not modular
- Protection gloves
- A suit or assorted protections capable of protecting your back, upper and lower members
- A mid-calf or full-calf boot, preferentially, off-road biased
If you have any doubts about the gear or tires, let us know before you sign up for the class, as our instructors and guides have the right to refuse your participation in any of our activities, without reimbursement, if you do not present yourself with the minimum required safety gear.
Field Training is an on-job training, so although we will make regular fuel stops, it is your responsibility to arrive with a full tank, or enough for at least 100kms or 60miles before the start of the training.
So get your bike fueled up, get your gear on, and come enjoy this incredible training!
